Watford 3 Leicester City 2 – Key Numbers

Following Leicester’s 11th Championship defeat of the season, here are three key numbers to take away from last night’s match.

4 – The number of points Leicester have won in league matches this season immediately following a win, from a possible total of 33. That’s four draws, and seven defeats.

6 – Leicester are half a dozen points worse off this season than they were after 31 games last season, when they had amassed a total of 48 points.

12 – With 15 matches to go David Nugent could be the first Leicester City player to score 20 league goals at this level since Gary Lineker. Danny Graham, Shane Long and Grant Holt (the Championship players that reached this milestone last season) all ended up playing Premier League football this year, but only Holt is at the same club.

When was the last time we scored from a corner and how many corners ago?

Leicester have taken 62 corners since Paul Gallagher’s goal against Peterborough back in December, which was the last time City scored from one.

I think our woeful performances against the so-called weaker teams in the Championship tell us a lot. The squad have such a sense of entitlement and superiority over their rivals they completely neglect the need to compete and stay disciplined against the lower lights. this season our record against the bottom 8 is
    P 11 W 2 D 5 L 4 Pts 11 percentage 33 pc
And against the top eight it’s slightly better
    P 10 W 3 D 3 L 4 Pts 12 percentage 40 pc
